RADSKIDS is a group of indianapolis cycleist who ride bikes for fun nothing super serious but at the same time bikes are a huge part of their lives. everyone involed rides nearly everyday either for work or entertainment. RADSKIDS started out as 3 friends rididn track bikes in downtown indy and being the few first kids riding downtown we started soing alleycats sbc nobody else was doing them so myself (shawn) and a since retired radskid founder(haha) planned an alleycat we flyered for a week in advance putting flyers everywhere all over campus and downtown at every bike rack we could find.. race day came and we had a total of 7 riders including a now good friend Burd Phillips and a handful of guys who would later become good friends. the winner of indy's first ever alleycat was a very unassuming Mike Runge. honestly when i first saw him i giggled to myslelf over his clipless shoes on a schwinn conversion and a tiiiiny gear. but he proved to be extremely fast! later i found out he was an ex chicago messenger! haha! shit i felt like an ass. i wish he hungout more today. so if you see a spokecard made of marvel comics they were at the first ever indy alleycat. radskids is full of great friendships, fast riders and impressive trick riders.

Rad Skids Blog Is Up!!!!
Shawn and myself have talked about making a Rad Skids blog for a while now and I have some downtime today so Im making one! This week has been pretty eventful. Thursday Cole, Shawn, Mark, Zach, Kody, Ben, and Jake all went to Bloomington to ride with Jason for the ShowUp hangout Thursdays! The tricks were getting pretty insane followed by an intense game of footdown. Kodeman happened to taco some poor kids wheel, it was gnarly!
Then last night was the first stage of the Tour De Franzia. Sprints were held on East Street and actualy had a decent turnout. The results were as follows,
1)Mark Alford
2)Richard Bate
3)Doug Gigowski
4)Sam Jackson
